Sounds like Ed's plan has worked!
good for ed... i still think hes not that great of a GM... im sorry... hmm maybe we can work a S&T for josh smith! haha (a man can wish)

Does that mean Josh Smith would have a good chance in LA? Since the CLipps have around 70 mill offered to Brand, they would take that money and send it to Smith's way.

then josh childress will be a RFA... cuz if the hawks match the 70 million... they wont have enough for the other josh... childress... and that means they tie 2 players with a lot of their cap... joe johnson and josh smith... i love josh but hes the pippen of most teams... not the jordan ROBIN NOT BATMAN
this is great news tbh. Brand is better than Smith now, but we won't compete for 2 more years. At that point Smith will be better, and he would have a good chance to be a Sixer if they didn't get Brand. This also drives down the amount of suitors for Krstic. He'll be more likely to be a Net, and cheaper at that. Josh Smith is more likely to stay with Atlanta, so Childress could leave them, and, could we possibly get him? he would be great.
