Elton Brand is headed to cheese steak land so does Baron Davis still sign with the Clippers? His agreement is just verbal so he can still get the hell out of Los Angeles. It's happened before (Boozer in Cleveland). What do you think?
That picture is awesome, nice work. Doubt it which will confirm that the Clippers franchise is cursed.
He should screw the Clippers over and call up Mitch Kupchak and tell him he'd love to wear the Purple and Gold for the MLE!
IMO even if you told Baron that Brand wouldn't be here he still takes that deal. 5 years 65 mils is the biggest contract anyone would have offered him for the rest of his life, of course hes going to take that. Warriors weren't offering anywhere near that much and neither was any other team. The fact that its in LA is the cherry on top- Baron has wanted to play there his whole career, he loves it there, he spends his offseasons there, his family is there and all of his business ventures are centered there.
He either comes off looking like an idiot or a douche. My guess is he sticks it out and just coasts through this next contract, getting paid on a shitty team.

They have Baron and Kaman plus Al Thornton and Eric Gordon are gonna be good. They still have a lot of cap room to sign someone this offseason as well.

All their rebuilding moves over the past couple seasons have been made assuming that they'd still be building around Elton. Suddenly they have a gaping hole at the 4-spot with very little out there in the way of immediate help.
