Well according to the forums, Joe reported that a stronger source stated that Baron was still going to sign.
Oh, my this is so funny. Poor Clippers. They had everything going just right for them until Brand's departure. Now I could see them being the worst team in the league.

Baron needs to think this out. He wants to win a ring. He's going to the wrong L.A. team. Take the full MLE from the Lakers. It's Los Angeles, he can easily make up the money he'd be losing out on in his contract through advertising!
If he decides to play for the MLE, a lot of teams will be bearing down on him....he agreed so long ago, you could see this coming a mile away....
Clippers went from looking like champs to chumps within a span of 24 hours, lol............poor "other L.A. team"
Seems like everyone in the Bay Area who knew him well (beat writers and W's announcers, Nellie, Mullin, etc.) all are sure hes still staying with the clips. The consensus is that hes pretty pissed off but still definitely a Clipper. This cancellation could be to wait for the Clips to sign someone else so they can be introduced together. Hes still on good terms with the Warriors front office though. He came in himself to say goodbye and clear out his locker, Nellie said they smoked some cigars and talked for 2 hours a few days ago. Baron has been working out in the Clippers facility since he signed as well.
