Looks like Elton Brand is a Sixer.

    Another team has lapped us.

Rebulit in a shorter time than the beloved Bulls.

This story is getting old in a hurry.

We're fretting about signing 3rd guys to big time money and waiting for yet another 19 year old to develop.

    Meanwhile, the Sixers vault ahead.

Ah well. I guess that's why its a good idea to build up Cap Space during the summers when the good FAs are available.

In the early 2000s the Sixers were in the Finals. They have since blown up and rebulit.

The Bulls continue to tread water. Paxson-ball.

Have they lapped us, really? Not so sure.

Brand hasn't played a game since his injury, no telling how good he's going to be or how long it'll take to shake off the rust. Even then, how'd the clippers do with him all these years?

Sure, Iggy is a really really good player. We have more than one who are close to his level.

Pax's personnel moves leave a lot to be desired. Rose is a can't lose pick, even if he doesn't turn into a top tier player. Gordon, Deng, Nocioni, and Duhon were one hell of a draft, it's just every other one has been ... meh.

Saving up all that cap space sucked and then he blew it all on Wallace. Now we're stuck with Hughes' contract and don't really have the minutes to play everyone what they need at his position.

I think we can beat the pacers. Yay!

Tyrus was a 4-5 year project. His breaking out will coincide with Rose.

We should have a core of Gordon, Deng, Rose, Thomas, and Noah by then.

We need to unload Hughes, Nocioni, and Hinrich though...

Wait, so you're sayin Ty is gonna become the dunk poster child for the nba?

No, but really Ive always looked at bradley as being weak as hell and a waste of height. I actually never knew he average those kinda numbers lol

The Bulls have similar talent to the 76ers, but the 76ers team is a much MUCH better constructed team. (as long as Brand is healthy)

I remember reading about back in the day, Bradley used to drop triple-doubles with the Nets in points, rebounds, and blocks...he wasn't all that bad.

actually when I think of Ty, I think of this guy http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/swiftst01.html

not a baaad player, but a HUGE let down for being the #3 pick.
    </div>

Even worse since he was the #2 pick [IMG]

Not for me. My favorite NBA player was drafted.
