    Christopherson transferred....

It was good to see everyone come back for one more season (though, realistically, none should have declared anyway). McNeal flirted with it, but came back. He must not have been an early 2nd rounder (which, duh). Anyway, in talking to several of the players, they are rallying around the "Screw Crean" mantra...hopefully it propels us to a good tournament run.

For Syracuse: At guard (behind Devendorf) is Andy Rautins. He was a starter a couple years ago, people tend to forget the team since his injury caused him to miss the whole season.

Other than that, the depth chart looks good. You even got the starters right. Or at least, what I see as the most likely starters.

Kansas will be a force, good recruits and Collins runs Self's offense well, they will start slow but will be a good team by the time conference plays begins, watch out

Not really that big of a loss in Christopherson, but thanks for the heads up for accuracy's sake.

Anyway, it's ridiculous how many good teams are returning more or less their entire rosters from last season. I haven't seen this many high profile programs return their entire squads since it became popular to declare early for the pro's.

I guess the x-factor in this year's season for Marquette would be the play of Lazar Hayward. And is it just me, or has Dominic James been playing college ball for the last ten years?

I would have included him, but it's Andy freakin' Rautins. Like he matters anywhere outside of Canada... [IMG]

The thing is, Collins and Aldrich are pretty much all they return, and this season, a lot of the elite teams are just reloading, not rebuilding. Kansas lost seven of their top nine scorers, and their recruiting class is deep, but it doesn't have that much stand-out talent. We're already looking at a weak year for freshmen, and the group Kansas is bringing in doesn't have any names that jump off the page as instant-impact one-and-done differencemakers. They're definitely on the bubble headed into the season.

You make good points, but if they buy into Self's system, the recruits that is, they could be a good team, expect a ranking a few times this year and a strong Big 12 tournament run
btw, excellent run down on the teams

I think losing Nietzel will make MIchigan State better. He was streaky from the outside, and now we can just throw it down low to 'Quise and let him do what he does. With the Trio of Summers, Lucas and Allen having a year under there belt will only help us....And Tom Izzo is the muthafucking man!

Memphis is gonna upset Gonzaga so they wont be five for very long. I like you're list. I have to agree with most of these.

Yeah, I just pointed it out for accuracy's sake...

Also agree on the Lazar point. He really stepped it up last year. We need that kind of play from him again, this year. And James remains the team's most dynamic player; but he's progressively gotten worse. Fortunately, McNeal (or McSteal.... or McTurnover, depending upon the day) has gotten better.

James needs to return to form.

I think Pitt will be good because Carl Krauser is a good floor general with experience.
