Ive been proposing a Marcus for Reddick swap for a while now. But it may have to expand into something bigger, like: Marcus, Boone, and Stro for Redick, Battie, and a protected 2010 pick
I think the Magic would likely take that deal....Marcus gives them depth at the point, Boone gives them depth up front and both guys are young and could help for several years....Swift for Battie is a step back, but Swift will be expiring, so theres value there as well....the pick would likely be a low 1st....
that would be sweet but then we would have to get a backup pg unless they want Jaycce as the backup lol.
I was soo tempted to delete this thread when I saw it. I'll hold back, and just stick with saying - hell no. There's a few guys who can do what he does, except probably better - one is Carroll, another is Salim Stoudemire (UFA). I see absolutely no point in picking him up.

(correct me if I'm wrong, imanetsfan!) </div> I understand that, but getting JJ Reddick would follow the trend this off-season of getting shooters, and we are yet to get one at the guard position. So I would understand it if Thorn and Kiki wanted him, but I don't see it happening unless we get rid of some of our 75 big men.
