<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arsenal have completed the signing of Marseille playmaker Samir Nasri for an undisclosed fee.

The Gunners have confirmed the capture, with the France international penning a long-term contract at Emirates Stadium.

A deal had reportedly been struck towards the end of June after the player's official website announced the 21-year-old had secured his transfer to North London.

However, the statement proved to be premature, and was subsequently removed, sparking confusion over the progress of the switch.

But now the former Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year has sealed his protracted move to Arsenal for a reported fee in the region of £12million.

    Massive club
Nasri told the club's official website: "I'm very happy to become an Arsenal player, it means such a lot to me. This is a very important step in my life as a football player because Arsenal is a massive club.

"I really hope everything will go well for me here. I will my best for Arsenal and its fans and I am honoured to be part of such a great football club."

Manager Arsene Wenger added: "We are delighted to be signing Samir Nasri. He is young, quick and technically an outstanding player.

"He has shown great potential with his performances for Marseille and the French national team over the past two seasons and he will add great quality to our squad."

Nasri's arrival is expected to pave the way for unsettled midfielder Alexander Hleb's transfer to Barcelona.</div>

That's pretty cheap for the quality of player he is. Give it 2 years and teams will offer around 40 mill for him.

12M is very cheap, I was thinking more in the range of 18M. Well, Hleb's sale to Barca will cover Nasri's signing, so we get a more younger and more promising player and offload a player who probably has 3 more good seasons left in him, Good bussiness wenger!!!! [IMG]

indeed it will cover the costs. Apparently Hlebs going for around £13M. now all we need to do is sell Adebayor and buy a very good finisher. £30M will get us anyone we want nearly.

To be fair CK, I would not want to see ronaldhino at our club anymore, he keeps getting fatter every season, it seems like hes just interested in getting paid than playing, 30M would be a waste in my opinion on him.

    Really?

I've always seen 'Dinho as a very good example of the game. You can tell he plays for the passion of the game by that big Smile he gives. He's just having a rotten time at Barca at the moment.

Yeah I think he would be great for the top teams in the EPL, the fast style would fit him nicely.

I used to believe that about Dhino, but lately it looks like hes trying to contribute to his retirement fund just like Fat Ronaldo.
