"He makes the biggest contract and he's one of the oldest players on the team," Pierce said yesterday while signing collectibles at Steiner Sports offices in New Rochelle. It`s funny, but I bet people could have said the same thing about the Celtics and their position with Pierce prior to the Allen + KG trades. 1. He makes the most money, 2. He is the oldest on the team (I guess he wasn`t because of Ratliff), but the team was very young compared to him. But anyway, it would probably be worth it for the Celts to try to pick him up. He does need a change of scenery. He is a good scorer, and at backup point guard would be a good scoring catalyst. The big downside is he is no 3 point shooter like Eddie House is.
