ORLANDO - Eduardo Najera and Jarvis Hayes are coming as the Nets' makeover continues.

The Nets have reached an agreement in principle with both forwards - the 6-8 Hayes with a two-year deal (the first year guaranteed) for $3.9 million and Najera for four years and about $12 million.</div>

Can't believe they did a 4 year deal on Najera. Scratch Nocioni now.

More info. Apparently it's a front loaded deal.

A four year front-loaded deal ain't bad, I like Najera.

Would have preferred Nocioni but oh well, was far fetched anyway.

I wonder if he's gonna sign a no-trade clause, at this price he's a very movable contract in comming years.

Najera for 4 years? And they are still stuck with Hassell for two more years?

ThornKiki better have a trade or two to pull out of their ass.

I don't care if the deal is front-loaded, signing Najera for four years is more than perplexing.

And what happened to Dooling? Can they use their trade exception in a sign and trade with Denver so they can still use their MLE? What the hell?

If it's 4 years for the league minimum, then that's cool. Otherwise, WTF? And why both of them?

Really dumb to sign Najera. Good player, but the wrong situation.

Nets have 16 players under contract, and Stefanski pulled off the signing of the summer. Ugh.

Maybe they'll incorporate a S&T with Denver now and add in Camby?

Otherwise we won't have an MLE left (Especially if the Najera deal is front loaded). We do have a $3.3mm TE. They can always ask Orlando to sign Dooling and trade him for the TE.

What's the max a contract can decline over the years? Petey, I think you mentioned to me the percentage once before.

They sooooooo better get rid of Hassell in a trade now. I'm just confused right now.

All of you crying about Najera are going to love him when he actually plays.

I don't love the contract, but I doubt he'll be a Net for all of it.
