When we first got him I was skeptical, and he earned every minute he got out there on the floor. Fun to watch.

Hopefully he gets the years and money he wants from another team.

Boki's a good guy, I'm gonna miss him.

He had the best half a season of his career with the Nets.

    Always liked the guy.
Sad to see him go because he always gave 110%

Best part about him was the "Where did that come from" bursts of athleticism when he'd dunk on people.

I am bummed a little because Boki did bust his butt for us and was a very loyal guy. In the end we just ended up going in a different direction and we needed more than he could give us. I hope he finds a good fit here in the NBA, i'll be genuinely rooting for him to have continued success.

I liked him personally, and he certainly had his moments in a Nets uniform.

I don't know if it was the pressure of a contract year or all the turmoil and drama that developed around the Kidd problem, but he just didn't produce enough last year to warrant the minutes he got or a big/lengthy contract from the Nets this year. I hope he finds a niche on another good team, one where he can play freely and to his strengths. Good luck, Boki.

    Boki, Boki, Boki!

He was really good for us (especially considering who we traded for him). Good guy too, I hope he gets his pay day and I wish him the best.

Tough to see Boki go, there were times where he would be keeping the Nets in the game, but i guess he wasn't consistent enough.

I hope he lands in a good situation and if he's not in the NBA, his athleticism will surely make him a star in Europe.

He was a good player, but sucked this season. I wanted him to be the shooter of this squad and be another scorer we could rely on, but without Kidd he sucked. I wish him the best of luck for his future basketball career.

Sad to see him go. He had leadership qualities and he's a good scorer with him gone and Hayes and Najera has his replacement it makes the Nets offense next year look even more anemic. It's gonna get ugly.

Sucks to see him go. Hard to root against a guy like Boki. Will follow him for the rest of his career.

I'll miss Boki. He was a good player the season before, and it's really sad and/or disappointing that he ended up having a crappy season in his contract year. I wish him the best, and hope he'll bounce back next season with a team I like.

    Boki's e-mail to Fred Kerber:

“I would lie if I said I wasn't disappointed with how things are looking right now as far as the Nets go. I think there is only a little chance left for me to stay with them. But at the same time I was prepared for something like that, so I'm not shocked or surprised,” Nachbar said. “I really wanted to stay, but I've also been in the NBA long enough to know that things like this happen. I am gonna focus on the other teams more now and I know I will be just fine. I will always be thankful for what Nets did for me -- from giving me a chance to helping my brother with his rehab (knee). Who knows? Maybe one day I will be back again.”

I agree it was time for him to go. I wouldn't call him garbage but I felt he was very soft both on offense and defense.
