Ronaldinho Set To Join Milan <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to Gazetta dello Sport, AC Milan are on the verge of securing a deal for Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho on a two-year contract. The Barcelona forward has been linked heavily this summer with both Milan and Manchester City, both of whom will be competing in next season’s UEFA Cup. It seems that the former World Player of the Year has set his sights on a move to San Siro, where Carlo Ancelotti is overhauling his aging squad. According to Gazetta, Barcelona chief Joan Laporta and Milan counterpart Adriano Galliani have agreed in principle a deal for the player. A fee, believed to be in the region of 15 million euros, has been decided by the duo, and the details of an annual 6.5 million euro contract are in place. Galliani has sought to placate irate supporters with a trophy signing this summer, and had stated his intent on signing Ronaldinho or Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor. After being seemingly priced out of a bargain for the Togo striker, Galliani looks set to snare the Brazilian playmaker for a relatively economical fee. Ronaldinho will be expected to lead the Milan line with fellow Seleção members Kaka and Alexandre Pato. Milan have already secured deals for three new players this summer; Gianluca Zambrotta has been added from Barcelona, Mathieu Flamini joined for free from Arsenal, while Marco Boriello has been recalled from a fruitful loan-spell at Genoa.</div> I think thats pretty cheap for a player like him.
15 million though, with all the players getting more than that, thats cheap for me. Even Adebayor's price is around 30 mill at the moment. I still consider Dinho a top 5 player. He just lost interest last season with Barca.
It really is a cheap price. I hope Ronaldinho will get his career back together soon, because seeing him play while he's in good form is always a pleasure.

I want him to go to EPL but looks like Milan have a deal in place.

He has to carry the team.
Kaka shouldn't be worried, because when he hits the inevitable drug/sex/party/alcohol stage of his career he'll already be in the right place.

I view him more as an Italian than as a Brazilian. haha

Back on topic: I just fully appreciated the fact that Ronaldinho and Kaka will play in the same midfield together next season. If Gordinho losses some weight and regains top form, that'll be a seriously scary duo.
Yeah man, now imagine if Ronaldo comes back as well from his injury, Kaka, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo on the same team? Thats almost half of the Brazil team. An exciting team to watch no doubt.
Ronaldo is one of my favorite players of all time, really a shame that his career was sabotaged like that because of injuries. If he comes back and gets playing time, Milan become my favorite Serie A team, since I don't really have a favorite Italian team right now. I can't wait for Pro Evo 09, Milan will be stacked just like Barca were this year.
Yeah Kobi, Ronaldo is my favorite of all time, with Zidane coming at close second. I root for Lazio at Serie A but if Behrami moves to Bundesliga, that will change to Milan.
Cool, looks like we have a lot of Lazio fans here at S2. Behrami is a great player, but I think he needs to move to a bigger club in order to take the next step in his career.

(then there was a report a few days ago that Munich is close to singing him in a long term deal) That would be great for me, being that I'm a Bayern fan. haha
A move to Bayern would be great for him, but only if he gets the right amount of playing time. Look at Podolski as an example for a great player who made a good career move but didn't really get a chance to prove himself this season.

He's a starter type of player and it sucked having him on the bench for most of the season.
