<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Asked if there were room on the roster for Krstic with a basic “Spartacus” casting call on hand at power forward (Yi, Swift, Boone, Sean Williams Sean Williams [IMG], Anderson, Najera) Thorn claimed “Yes, because we're not through doing the things we're going to do.”</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Given that he has four years and the Nets’ roister is incredibly frontcourt heavy, scratch Andres Nocioni form any wish list. Probably Marcus Camby, too.</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>And after watching his draft picks excel in Orlando during the summer league, Thorn acknowledged that Brook Lopez could be competing for a starting job. Looks like only three guys are viewed as starters: Devin Harris and Vince Carter in the backcourt plus power forward Yi Jianlian (obviously subject to change).</div>

Good stuff. As a new Nets fan, I would like to say that following this team is fun. [IMG] There are a lot of sites/blogs such as the one posted above, Netsdaily, NJ.com, the New York based newspapers, etc. that provide so much info on the Nets. No offense to the Bucks franchise, but they basically have one credible newspaper (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel) and two solid blogs to follow, that's it.

leaving the team as is would make us a 30 win team, if that. I was hopeing for Noicioni or Camby, but at this point I'm really pulling for Dooling and hopeing to get rid of KVH, Hassel, and Swift. We already know Nenad and Boki are gone.

The obvious avenue is to pursue is the LA Clippers, who have a doughnut now at the PF position since Elton Brand left unexpectedly.

Cuttino Mobley has two years left on his deal. How about a package of big men + KVH + Marcus Williams if need be, for Mobley?

I don't buy this idea that the Nets need a big time SF. They just need a stop gap for two years until theoretically Lebron arrives. You don't want to create an unecessary roster conflict at that position. I think the Nets are adequate for two years at SF as currently constituted.

Damn, I was sorta looking forward to Andres. Oh well, might be better off without that ugly contract.

Please no, I had enough of Mobley watching the Rockets. His basketball IQ sucks, like a black hole. This might work in NBA 2k8 though [IMG]
IF we had taken Brent Barry it world have worked better.
