I'm listening to the new Bon Jovi album, and I'm starting to get into the newArcade Fire.
What are you listening to? What kind of music do you like?

I really do listen to a little of everything. I guess country, blues and jazz are my favorites these days.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=4YbxqQcue8o
The above link is for a Buddy Miller video on YouTube. Buddy has won Americana artist and album of the years awards several times over the past couple of years. He also serves as Emmylou Harris' lead guitarist and band leader. He produced Solomon Burke's last disc, Nashville. I have all of his albums and have been wearing them out lately. I met Buddy a couple of years ago when he did a Live Lunch at Louisville's public radio station, WFPK. Buddy always looks like he's ready to work on your car rather than look like a musician. He's a really humble guy.

If it sounds good, I listen to it, no matter the genre. Though, I mainly like hip-hip (real hip hop, underground stuff) and alt rock.
Right now, I'm listening to "Respiration" by Black Star.

I listen to mostly west coast rap, including some east coast, nothing from the south.

Also big fan of trance, techno, dance music. It's what jesus would listen to if he had an ipod.

I listen to everything too but mostly rap and rock. What ever I think sounds good is what I listen to.
I discovered my cable has vh1 classics. So mostly 70s stuff and some 80s stuff. Heavy metal, fusion, etc.
There's two kinds of music: ROCK, AND ROLL.
Some people think it's COUNTRY, AND WESTERN.

Oldies, Classic Rock, Swing, Jazz....some 90s alternative rock

Im really into Mason Jennings at the moment....check him out, you will like him....I love all Beatle songs that dont contain a sitar, and I love Squirrel Nut Zippers

I've been to about 200 concerts. Seen several bands 10+ times.
Best ever? The Carl Palmer Band. Perhaps the greatest drummer ever, plaing ELP music with a guy on guitar and a guy on bass who both play like Joe Satriani. It sounded an awful lot like Emerson was there. It was at the House of Blues and the audience was about 100 people. Truly outstanding.

Truly outstanding.

I've been to at least 100 concerts and worked backstage security at my city's best outdoor concert venue for two years previous to this. In fact, I worked at a house of blues (although the capacity was 20,000) theater.
The best band I've seen play is Pearl Jam. Seen them many times and they always leave everything out there every time. It's the closet thing to magic in this world. The Beastie Boys really do a good job as do the White Stripes. Jimmy Buffet can work his crowd like no other and the Guess Who have such a stage presence it's easy to stand there with your mouth open most of the time.
Tom Petty is as cool as you think he is and Anita Baker's voice is as pure live as it sounds recorded. Tool is tight live and Fergie looks like a dog before she gets her make-up on. On the other hand, Clay Aiken is a princess and Motely Crew are mostly a joke (nikki can't even move, it's scary), Hilary Duff seems sincere as does Dolly Parton.
There's so many that my brain starts to freeze when I try to think of the best but PJ probably takes the cake.
