<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Maccabi Tel-Aviv found their PF after lost Terence Morris to CSKA. Rodney White (28, 2.06) signed 2 year contract with the Yellows and joined Marcus Fizer and Esteban Batista in the front line. Rodney White was 9th pick in 2001 NBA Draft, but couldn't hold more than one season in Pistons, Warriors or Mavs due to his "head-case".

Despite all, he scored 7 points and grabbed 3.6 rebounds in his 4 season career in the NBA. He also played in Murcia (Spain) with 20.2 points and 8 rebounds per game, but once again, his [behavior] was against his career.</div>

I remember him on the Nuggets' roster, don't know much about him though. Anyone care to enlighten me, since he'll be playing for my favorite team's biggest rival?

He played for the Warriors briefly back in 04-05. Hes pretty effin big- listed at 6'9 230 and I'd say thats pretty accurate (he looked even heavier IMO), hes a natural SF but in Europe probably a combo forward. Obviously pretty athletic for his size but I wouldn't say hes exceptionally explosive- he has good mobility and coordination. Handle wasn't that good. Shooting was supposed to be good but wasn't good either. Didn't have a very good motor. My impression was that coming into the NBA he was considered to have a ton of talent being a guy that big and having the skills of a wing player but he never really developed his skills and mentally he just doesn't have what it takes (seems lazy, soft, passive, floats around the perimiter, etc.). Obviously its been a while since I've seen him and have no idea how hes doing in Europe.

Quick research shows hes been floating around lower level overseas leagues and doing very well:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In the 2005/06 season White starred at Basquet Manresa (20.8 ppg, 6.6 rpg) in Spain and in the following season played a couple of months at Lagun Aro Bilbao before leaving for Italian side Scavolini Pesaro (17.2 ppg, 6.3 rpg).

White, who is known as a very physical and offensive minded player, played for China's Zhejiang Guangsha last season (30.5 ppg, 8.7 rpg) and helped Arecibo Captains to the Costa-Rican championship this summer.</div>

I could see him playing well alongside Fizer.

Rodney likes to do two things - jack up a lot of shots and play with guns in his free time

If he had any brains, I'm sure Mossad could find a use for him during his stay [IMG]

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv added another new face in preparation for the upcoming season with the signing of forward Rodney White for two seasons.

White will thicken the front line of Euroleague runner-up that already includes Marcus Fizer, Esteban Batista, Lior Eliyahu and Yaniv Green. He spent the past season playing for Guangsha Lions in China and Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rico.</div>
