I just needed a nickname the first time I posted on a message board a long, long, time ago, and things have gotten out of hand. IIRC, another poster immediately accused me of being Net Income under a different handle.

I did the compuserve and prodigy bits ten years earlier, but around 2000-2002, right about when the Nets suddenly became good, the ability to form and be a part of a vibrant on-line community really blossomed as technology got better and more people became aware of these communities and started to participate. sudenly all these rabid Nets fans had a place to go, right when they all started getting excited about the team. Posting video and pictures, creating polls, hyperlinks to articles or threads, all of that was still off in the future.

You guys are old... My first instinct was to be surprised at the lack of posters in their 30s. Seems like we've got a lot of 23-24 year olds and younger, and a bunch of old fogies in their 40s. I suppose it's probably Steph's fault, eh? Anyway, the bottom line is that "intelligent reporting via NetsDaily" = "instant celebrity among local sportswriters and Sussman." I'm writing up my petition to be involved as we speak. With that said, fun read Dumpy! It's nice to see NetsDaily slowly and surely begin its Google-like death march towards total domination of everything Nets-news related. Today on-site reporting, tomorrow the world!
