When we drive to the games, wait in long lines of cars to get into the parking lot, you know that you've made it when you roll your window down and hear "Raiderhed" playing at the front gate as you roll in. Raiderhed is our unofficial Raider band that plays great covers of hard rock songs. They have been bringing their instruments and amps to the stadium for years, and it's never been a problem. Also, their are some really great tailgate parties with sophisticated DJ booths, with lots if dancing involved. These are fun to walk through as well. I really don't know why they would do this. The highway is on one side of the parking lot, and the BART train is on the other. Who is being affected by the noise? If they say it's the hotels, then that doesn't make sense. The people renting rooms there are there for the game anyway. Why would they be trying to sleep on a Sunday morning during the NFL season? Oh well, at least we can still stand up the entire game in our seats.
Seems like a ridiculous over-reaction to me....if the stadium isnt making money off an activity, they likely wont fight to save it....
