    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Billy Packer's streak of Final Fours is over after 34 years.

Packer, a color commentator, will be replaced in CBS' coverage by analyst Clark Kellogg.

Billy Packer will reportedly be replaced by CBS studio analyst Clark Kellogg.
"With his unquestioned popularity and performance over the years, Clark Kellogg earned all rights to this top spot," Sean McManus, president of CBS News and Sports, said in a statement Monday. "Like Billy Packer, Al McGuire or any of the most highly regarded broadcasters, Clark is an original voice with his own style and perspective."

Packer, 68, will leave CBS after 27 years to pursue "other projects in basketball," according to The Miami Herald.

Jim Nantz will continue in his Final Four play-by-play role.</div>

Finally, no more of Billy "I'm always right and the ACC is god's gift" Packer ruining the Final 4.

    THANK GOD!

This man knew nothing about the game, was a homer, and was starting to go senile.

Four years of him calling Kelvin Torbert, "Kevin Torbit" made me want to jump through the screen and slap the guy around.

"Kevin Torbit's a great player. I've followed his game for a while. You've just got to love watching Torbit play. KEVIN TORBIT WITH THE THREE!!!"

    YOU ASSHOLE, IT'S KELVIN TORBERT!

    God, I'm glad that's over.

There's plenty of other names he's fugged up over the years, plenty of other game situations he's gotten wrong (ie: saying the foul was on the wrong player, the game clock was different, the wrong team had possession, etc.), and plenty of idiotic, self-praising comments about the ACC.

Fuck pACCer, hopefully Dick Vitale is next.

Even the Duke fans I know disliked him for some reason. I'm guessing because they're just random bandwagoners that don't have any real connection with the school.

That'd be awesome. I think I dislike Vitale and his subtle xenophobia more than Packer.

I'm happy, not only because Parker is leaving, but because Clark is the guy they picked to replace him. Though Raftery wouldn't have been bad either.

    Agreed.

    Bilas > Katz >>>>>>>>>>> pACCer = Vitale

God Vitale and Packer are so bad. How'd they ever get jobs? It's almost like people just give them respect and keep them around because of seniority. Well, I mean, it's not almost like that, it is like that.

Most Duke fans dislike Packer too.

After all the guy is a Demon Deacon and he had the incident in 2000 with Duke students.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"In 2000, Packer publicly apologized to two Duke University students for allegedly sexist comments he made before a men's basketball game in Cameron Indoor Stadium. According to published reports, when the students asked Packer to show his press pass, he responded, "Since when do we let women control who gets into a men's basketball game? Why don't you go find a women's game to let people into?" Packer apologized after the comments were published in Duke University's student-run newspaper</div>
