Williams, who will play for the Nets in the Rocky Mountain Revue next week, finished with 26 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds. Actually, I think this youth movement may salvage Marcus' Nets career, if he's not traded between now and opening night. Because of Kidd's age and the narrow window of opportunity for the last regime, he was always under pressure, especially from Frank, to be a mature, on-court leader who made few mistakes and had great judgment. Unfortunately he just wasn't ready. Now entering his 3rd year, he is suddenly among the more experienced members of the team, and the pressure to be perfect is considerably less. If he can embrace the role of backup PG, he could still excel as he is capable of things on the court that no other Net really is. I'm rooting for him, and I hope he gets another chance with the new roster before they ship him out.
i am one of the few people in this board that actually wants to keep marcus im sorry but i still believe and have faith in the guy... let me play 1 more season
