So the bands on that list that are actually metal are: Metallica Meshuggah Motorhead Iron Maiden Slayer Black Sabbath Pantera And ones on the fence: Judas Priest Dio And just throwing it out there, I realize that Sabbath is on there, but no Ozzy?

You're right in that Hendrix is definitely not metal though. Still, you've got to wonder, if they consider Hendrix metal, how can he not be #1? Anyway, I'm not a metal fan. I hate when metal gets lumped in with artists like the Beatles/Doors/Hendrix, because people tend to get the wrong impression about rock music as a result. However, with that said, they got Sabbath right, but Metallica should be higher, maybe even #1b.
