    He isnt a bad player at all imo.</div>

    His size makes him an odd fit for the C or PF positions--he often looked dwarfed last year by some of the bigger players in the league--I think otherwise he's behaved himself enough not to deserve the "attitude" nonsense being tossed his way. [IMG]

    Isn't he 6'10 thats not bad but I had the same feeling that he doesn't have the muscle to play down low. He really has to bulk up.
    </div>

    nah hes only 6'8" with a wingspan of like a 7 footer [IMG]
    </div>

    I know in an article Ryan Anderson said that but did you hear that anyplace else?
    </div>

    nah i guess not... anybody else have info?!!?

    Well, the fans saying this aren't making it up - if you pay attention to many interviews throughout the season you could tell that something with his attitude was going on behind the scenes. I remember, towards the end of last season (actually, I think it was the first game w/Devin Harris vs. Milwaukee), listening to the post game show. Someone asked Chris Carrino and Tim Capstraw - not just announcers but Nets PR guys - about Sean Williams playing time, and they just ripped into him, criticizing his maturity and attitude.

    OMG, I had never heard Tim Capstraw rip into a kid like that time when we were in the car and leaving the game. I do like Sean and from all the things I've heard, he's not a BAD person, just "young" like Rory said, immature and with attitude issues. I just think the kid is way laid back and they want intense young kids that just wanna run through a wall, ala Ronny Turiaf or something. Kid's got talent, just hasn't earned the respect to be a laid back "superstar"... like VC.....

    I feel that the perceived "hate" on Sean is the result of a frustrated fan base. After losing Kenyon we've had an itch for a similar type of player that could have a similar type of effect. I think a lot of that is seen in Sean, and that for every game or step in his career (for instance, his 2nd year summer league) that he doesn't rise to these expectations it disappoints these people. He could become such a great player; people are anxious for this to happen if it does happen.

    As far as the height issue: What did the pre draft camp in Orlando say about his official measurements? Anybody have a link to last years camp?

    I personally like the kid.

    Yeah he had some immature moments last year but he was a rookie. Since when do people get on a rookie's case after his first year.

    The guy may have some weird practices, but so did Rodman.He will go down as one of the best rebounders and defenders. It took him more than 1 year to accomplish that. Sean has all the pieces to become a very good player in this league. I say we keep him with patience he will be good.

    As far as singing in the shower after a lose. I would rather that then people smiling with the opposing team players on the court after a tough lose.
