Go to... http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzU1MDY3MDA=.html As each quarter finishes, the video is uploaded. It is in Chinese, and the feed can be slow and stall, but it's Yi vs. Krstic.
Yao is back... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080717/ap_on_...y_bko_china_yao according to the article china jumped to a big lead when both Yi and Yao were in.
Yi help China overcome a very young second string Serbia side 96-72. Yi played 20 minutes in total scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. While he showed touches of brilliance, his overall game was quite disappointing. He was too hesistant one time in the post and lost his dribble. Tends to still drift in and out of games when he should really be demanding the ball especially without Yao on the court. China will need him to play a lot better if they are to do well at the Olympics. Box score for the game is given below: http://cba.sports.sina.com.cn/look_scores.php?m_id=2066
So did Krstic ever play in this game? And if so, what # is he (not that I'd have a prayer of making it out)?

The Iranian National Team was supposed to play in this tournament but dropped out so they could play in the Rocky Mountain Revue. As a result, Serbia wound up sending its youth team.

awesome and prompt undate... thanks a lot fellas... finally the beast is back.... Yi is truely amazing if you consider his height and size on the fastbreak... well done.
I saw the game live on tv last night,Yi got 14 points and 5 rebs,Yao got 11 points。only a ploblem YI was in foul trouble and this Serbia is a young team not looks like China team。

That USA team included some big names, such as Michael Beasley.
English boxscore here. Anyway, Yi (who traveled on that fastbreak dunk, by the way), was pretty deferential when Yao was there. He did his usual act of using his athleticism to score, and then just hanging around after that.

Players don't dribble with ball on their side on the open floor.
Yeah you could see the difference between Yi and Yao really easily this game. Yao dominated those kids while Yi was passive most of the time. He's gotta demand the ball more esp when yao isn't playing. And he has to start abusing some of these lesser players that are guarding him.
