BALTIMORE (Ticker) - Scott Kazmir will try to help the TampaBay Devil Rays snap a three-game losing streak when they facethe Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday in the opener of a three-gameseries.


The Devil Rays were blasted in three games against the New YorkYankees over two days, getting outscored, 45-11, in that span.

The 23-year-old Kazmir (7-6, 4.02) gave up just one run andthree hits with six strikeouts over seven innings in a 7-2triumph over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Wednesday.

The Orioles will counter with righthander Daniel Cabrera (6-10,5.30), who is looking for his first victory since June 22.

The 26-year-old Dominican surrendered five runs and eight hitswith three walks and three strikeouts en route to receiving a nodecision in a 6-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners last Wednesday.

Jeremy Guthrie outdueled Dallas Braden in the Orioles' 1-0victory over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday.
