Another Oak Hill guy huh? A 6-8 center? I'm guessing we'll see him at the 4 more in the future.

Ah, crap. When did he verbal to WVU? I was hoping Rutgers would get him. We might as well just stop recruiting everyone for '09 besides Cheek now and just focus on the 2010 class with Kyrie Irving and Tobias Harris.

laterally like an hour ago, well atleast sometime today

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Swingman Dalton Pepper, who had narrowed his final two choices to West Virginia and Villanova, made his choice for the Mountaineers according to a smal item in the New York Daily News. Pepper, who was named MVP of a Hoop Group Elite cam earlier this summer, did not attend the Triple S Harley Davidson Jam Fest in Morgantown due to his attendance at a summer school class.

The 6-5 scorer has the ability to play either guard or forward, and has been a top target of Huggins and his staff since their arrival at WVU.

The second player adds some muscle to the front line. Dan Jennings, a 6-8, 240-pound inside-oriented player has also given WVU a commitment, according to RealScout.net.

Jennings is a New York City native who moved to prestigious Oak Hill Academy prior to the 2007-08 season in order to further his basketball prospects and work on his acadmeics. After reclassifying into the class of 2009, he's done just that, as he has snared a spot with West Virginia in the Big East conference.

A strong player who can score in traffic and exert his will in the lane, Jennings looks to provide the perfect counterpart to the guards and forward s West Virginia is bringing in for the current school year. He is expected to play his senior season at Oak Hill before coming to West Virginia in the fall of 2009.

Jennings played for the New York Gauchos during AAU season -- another well-known group on that circuit. He saved his best performance for the Rumble in the Bronx tournament in his home city, capturing MVP honors.

Louisville, DePaul, Marquette, Rutgers, Minnesota, and St. John's were also contenders for Jennings' services.

With these commitments, West Virginia continues to show its ability to make waves in meccas of hoops such as New York and Philadelphia.</div>

Good job Erik Martin. Huggins put him in charge of recruiting NYC and it has paid off.

I need to find the article that describes how Huggins made Martin sink or swim when he sent him to NYC the first time.
