<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward Malik Allen and guard Tyronn Lue on Thursday.

    Contract terms were not disclosed.

Allen, 30, split 73 games last season between the New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 4.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 15.0 minutes.

New Jersey traded him in the Feb. 19 blockbuster deal that sent Jason Kidd, Antoine Wright and Allen to Dallas for Devin Harris, DeSagana Diop, Maurice Ager, Keith Van Horn, Trenton Hassell, two first-round draft picks and $3 million US.

Allen has averaged 5.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 16.8 minutes in 360 games (119 starts) over seven NBA seasons with the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Nets and Mavericks.

Lue, 31, is joining his seventh team since he was drafted 23rd overall out of Nebraska by the Denver Nuggets in 1998.

The 31-year-old averaged 5.8 points, 1.5 assists, 1.1 rebounds and 14.8 minutes in 50 games with the Atlanta Hawks (33) and Mavericks (17) last season.

Lue has averaged 8.9 points, 3.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 23.6 minutes in 510 games (173 starts) over 10 NBA seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Hawks and Mavericks.

Dallas signed him to a free-agent contract on March 4.</div>

Nice quote, but your right its funny how less talented players like Allen get signed because a coach took favor to them
