The former Utah State guard will suit up for the Nets again in the Rocky Mountain Revue but he knows he’s likely to get less playing time than he did in Orlando. Marcus Williams is now on the team. Still, Rod Thorn says the Nets have seen enough of the 6′-2″ Carroll to strongly consider him for training camp in October. Carroll has shot to stick with Nets - Tony Jones - Salt Lake Tribune</div>
Didn't see this coming. No, wait, I did. I wonder how he'll fare in training camp. Additionally, I wonder how he compares to Hite. It'd be cool to see those 2 go head to head.
This dude cant defend against odor!! my god! and he doesnt assist! what is the hype? if he is going to be the 15th man then fine. what are the nets really trying to do.

Totally, totally shocked. Each team needs roughly 20 players for training camp for scrimages. Carroll can pick up some cash, get some experience, and maybe impress a scout for a "D" league or foreign team. Really, no different than Robert Hite or Art Tatum last year.
