<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>First it was a dropped pass that could have led to a touchdown. Then it was slowing down on a route just outside the end zone that had the potential for a touchdown. The last game of the 2007 season for Patrick Crayton was difficult.

Crayton took a lot of heat this offseason from the fans and the media.
Offensive coordinator/assistant head coach Jason Garrett said Crayton has responded with a strong offseason.

"He's been great, a special kid," Garrett said. "He's like I'm talking about, comes to work everyday, a smart football player who loves to play football. Has a confidence about him that really conveys the whole group. And we love that. He loves to practice, whatever role you give him he will be ready to do it, and give you his all to do it."

"You love his personality and his approach and you like his ability. He had a very productive year for us. You know when you think about Terry Glenn going down in training camp last year and the kind of year we had on offense without a marquee player like that, a lot of that is with Patrick Crayton stepping in and saying hey let's keep going."</div>

That is true. Our offense last year was pretty damn good with Crayton as the #2 WR, Hurd as the #3, Austin as the #4, etc. I hope Crayton keeps his focus this year....and one of our younger guys develop.

I just hope to see less dropped passes from Crayton. Like you said before, he didn't drop a lot, but he dropped really important 1st down type catches so it looked worse.

T.O. dropped a lot of passes to, but they didn't seem to be as crucial.
