No way that GS gives up Bellinelli. He's a very young and talented player who could turn to into a great scorer in this league. I think what you got for him is pretty fair though, considering where you picked him.

He's only 22 years old so I hope this doesn't come back to burn us.

    Boone must be happy.

The Nets still need a good playmaking PG. One that they can stand to have around.

As we discussed earlier, this offseason has ENTIRELY been about filling the roster with players that can produce in Frank's system. First and foremost, that means a commitment to defense--TEAM defense as well as man-to-man defense.

At the end of last year, the five or six largest defensive holes on the team were probably Marcus, Boki, Krstic, Swift, RJ, and possibly Ager or even Sean.

So you can imagine who will be the next to go.

Again, what can Eddie House do that Carroll can't for a fraction of the price?

We were something like 20th in the league last year, this year we'll be even worse. Also, we're an injury away from VC as backup pg again. Hope we're not done.</div>

I'd rather have Anderson shooting my 3's than Marcus.

Explain for AY (After Yi) Nets fans plz!

Btw who is Ager and i thought Sean Williams was a good defender? Is he only good at blocks and nothing else like Camby?

Those scenarios aren't that bad, I like the Nets chances.

I think being close to home may do Marcus some good, he was never going to work out here so good luck to him.

Marcus and Boone played together in college and were good friends.

Hint: Where did Williams play collegiate ball at? Where did Boone play collegiate ball at?

Sean is a bad positional defender. He tries to block everything, but never really "defends" his man. For example: On multiple occasions, if he's defending someone on the perimeter, he'll let the player drive by him so he can try and block his shot from behind. Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't. And it's really frustrating.

And Ager is Maurice Ager. He's an under-sized SG that was acquired in the Jason Kidd trade from Dallaes.

Remember when Marcus was supposed to be our great pick from that draft and Boone was supposed to fill a role and hopefully turn into something more. Well look where we are now. Boone has turned into something more (quickly I might add) and Marcus is gone. Time is a bitch huh?

Harris is no PG. He is a combo guard in his best day.

I heard Carroll got torched yesterday too. But i guess house could never play a lick of defense anyway.

With so much protection, and the 2nd rounders involved, this really handicaps the Warriors ability to make long term moves, unless they really think they are a playoff team next year.

He's as much a point as Tony Parker is.
