I think you should buy it, it was a good performance by Bale again, and man did he sacrifice for this role.

Well, Memento is a classic to me, there's no shame in not living up to that film. The Machinist is entertaining and I think it is always nice having a film that shows how actors should aspire to be. I'd give it a 7 actually, I'm a big Bale fan too but I don't give away favorable reviews either.
I saw it about a week and a half ago. It was an a decent movie, not better than Memento. Bale was awesome in it, though.
Watch it again. Now that you know what actually happened, see if you can pick up the clues and foreshadowing.
i think memento was great... but machinist is up there... hey same director rite? memento and dark knight rite?
Yeah. Christopher Nolan directed Memento, The Prestige, Batman Begins, and the Dark Knight. All of them are fabulous movies.
