The UFC has reportedly purchased the now-defunct IFL's video library and a selection of or all of the fighter contracts the company still had outstanding, as they did with PRIDE and the WFA. This could mean decent IFL fighters like Vladimir Matyushenko and Roy Nelson could come to the UFC; or, they could use the IFL to fill out the WEC roster. A fight between Urijah Faber and Wagnney Fabiano is something I fantasized about with our draft league and now it could be reality. Fabiano would be undefeated if it weren't for a truly bizarre split-decision loss to Jeff Curran, IIRC. I'm also curious to see how Chris Horodecki would do in the WEC's featherweight division. I don't think he is ready for someone like Faber, Curran or Pulver, but he might be a star someday with the right grooming. Kid's only 20-years old. I don't see him as a lightweight in the UFC with way oversized guys like Gray Maynard and Gleison Tibau in there.
how much did they pay for it? Did the IFL put 800 mill into their company? I remember Dana saying something like that.
The UFC has reportedly signed The Brothers Miller, Jim and Dan, as their first official acquisitions from the IFL.
