Which is in more trouble? The NBA with the ref about to call out other refs/players. Or the MLB w/ their steriod issues?

The NBA is in more trouble. Baseball has already bottomed out, Barry represents the end.

NBA. If the MLB had the issue NBA has no one would take steriods since games are already fixed. Thats why there is no steroid issue in NBA, why cheat when the game is fixed.

It happens, but the drug policy in the NFL does have teeth and they do find and suspend offenders....once you fail a test in the NFL, you essentially get hassled to death to prove your innocence from then on out, so the poilcy does have some bite to it....I dont remember the last time an NBA player had a drug suspension, but I find it hard to believe there are no druggies in the league

Hey, the NFL has it's problems too. Let not forgot how they 'take care' of retired players, that is simply a matter of respect.

The retired players just turned into whiney old men, who are greedy and jealous of how much revenue the league generates now. They set foundation, thats true. But they didnt negoitiate for a part of future earnings, so they can take thier complaints and shove as far as i am concerned. They all have more than adequate pensions, and with proper planning would be fine for retired life.

That's not the only problem the league has. It'd be nice if they could go a day without one of their players commiting a crime.

The major sports league will always have problems because you cant give millions of dollars to young men of diverse backgrounds and not expect some of them to be a bit wild....you are always going to have some of that....as far as the number of arrests NFL players rack up, the NFL is 5 times the size of the NBA, do NFL players get arrested 5 timesmore often?

That has no bearing on the integrity of the game itself. What you are talking about is a reflection on the players. That's not going to be remotely close to how Steriods is about to tarnish the most hearlded record in US Sports, nor saying that so many were involved in a sport that the outcomes in the history books may be viewed in the same way as WWF productions.

NFL is bigger. 32 teams compared to 30 teams. Way more players on each team. Not sure about the numbers, but 5x? Maybe. So 5x the chance for crime, 5x injuries to a team, etc etc.
