Why doesnt Swat ask for the ball down low more often? He has such a good fadeaway jumper..

Great to hear. I always thought Seans foul line area jumpers looked pretty soft. Would be tremendous for us if he could show the ability to do this in real league play.

Jaycee 2 for 2 from the line.
Swat hit a baseline turnaround J from 8 to 10 feet and looked comfortable doing it.
Jaycee and Swat poor pick and roll defense, resulting in a foul on a dunk attempt.
Swat turn around jumper to his left from just inside ft line.
Nets don't box out and give up a rebound on after a jacked up 3.
Dallas turns it over. Hodge handling the ball and fouled on the outside.
CDR dumps it into Hicks who gets fouled. Totally bricks the FT, especially the 2nd.
CDR forces a jump ball, tied up his man as he drives to the hole.
    43-32 Dallas
    Halftime

From the way plays were run, it seemed like each post guy got 1 or 2 chances.
The guards basically broke their man down 1 on 1 or attempted pick and rolls with Swat / Lopez.
Both Swat and Lopez need to work on setting their picks.
Swat dives to the hoop too early and Lopez keeps shuffling his feet to try to create a good screen.
    halftime stats
    jaycee 4/7 for 10
    lopez 3/5 for 6
    swat 3/3 for 6
    cdr 2/4 for 5
missed the team stats sorry guys.

Dribble drive for a tough shot by CDR which falls.
Turnover picked up by CDR for an all alone breakaway for a soft dunk.
Lopez block to a break, jaycee passes to anderson who should have gotten an and 1. 1/2 from the line.
Gerald Green abuses Jaycee in the post.
CDR another drive, misses runner Lopez tips it in.
    Quick miss by Dallas.
Anderson caught in the air with nowhere to go, bailed out by defender knocking it out of bounds.
    Lopez misses a midrange turnaround.
Jaycee burned, but dallas turns over - break for nets. CDR feeds Hamilton for a dunk.
    Timeout Dallas.
    47-41 dallas.

    Yeah! All Nets, baby!

Lopez with some nice stuff. Offensive board, a block and some good positional defense.

Jaycee really playing point. Good handle and making smart decisions.

Anderson is a great rebounder, but he has no touch around the basket in this game.

Sean Williams looks a little tired.

    It's called "wub".

I don't want to gush, so I just used that.

In five minutes I saw him dive out of bounds twice, dribble behind his back and twirl to avoid a defender, shoot a one handed push shot moving to his left across the lane, wrestle a rebound from a bigger defender, and put his hand in a guy's grill on the perimeter.

That's five minutes. Of a meaningless summer league game.

Whatever the other four guys are doing, he'll help them win. He's real. No hype and no bull.
