His initial role will be to stand at the three point line, wait until there's a shot, and attack the boards. On ball and post skills-wise, he's a project.
Ryan will be a stud. I am very, very excited about him. He can hit three-pointers from five feet beyond the arc, and he can rebound! All he needs is knee-high tube socks. He won't play SF very often during the season, and as a PF he will open up all sorts of room. I really think that he will be better than Boki from the very beginning.
I think that all our rooks have potential. Granted i dont believe Lopez and Anderson will ever be all-stars but they'll help us. Lopez will be a top teir CENTER, he still has alot to learn and if he's willing he will improve. When your that big and willing to work you can get away with not being the most athletic player and still be good. CDR however is going to be a stud for us. IF he conditions himself he reminds me of an unorthadox Rip Hamilton. Can handle the ball a bit, can hit the mid range jumper pretty consistantly, great with floaters and slashing off pics, and he has hops. I know he wasnt viewed as very athletic but i would say otherwise after watching him so far. He hustles and he plays De. The biggest thing however, as said already, is confidence. HE plays with a chip, he knows he's good, and he's not afraid of the ball. He just gives me a good vide when i watch him play. He'll get lots of touches with his style from Vince and Harris.
I like Lopez's jumper. If he improves it along his defense (it's a must!), he'll be a huge asset for us as there are not many centers in NBA with nice consistent jumper.

Nah, Popeye's still there, he'll be behind the bench. If you want to make up for the possible Anderson mistake, make a move for Charles Rhodes somehow. The guy is automatic in close, a hustle player, could turn out to be a Millsap type.
