I watch Fox News a decent amount, but I don't waste time on Bill'O though.

I do think Fox is biased, as anyone is. I do think they try to get people of all stripes on, because you get the crossfire effect and it's good for ratings. Ratings, they win at big-time.

I don't find that they selectively edit sound bites of various democratic Party politicians, and their analysis is generally quite good. It's not just Jackson and/or Sharpton they have on; O'Reilly interviewed Hillary over a couple days' shows, and I've seen most of the democratic Party leadership as guests.

What truly separates Fox from the others is the tone of optimism throughout their reporting. Everything's NOT broken.

I never understood why he would say something like this: "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.'"

For those who don't know, Sylvia's is a black-owned restaurant in Harlem.

As for the Cam, Dame interview, I think they both brought up good points; however, some immature comments such as "you mad", etc. marred their credibility. I also agree with Chutney to an extent. O'Reiley could have chosen a, to quote Chutney, "less ignorant" rapper for an interview.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Real)</div><div class='quotemain'>Is Bill O'Reilly really known for his ability to restrain himself?</div>

I don't know how I missed this thread. To answer Real's Q, No.

Looking down from his high horse, a few yrs ago, Bill asked the late George Carlin about why GC used the language he does. Unsatisfied w/ George's response, he played the morality card as only Bill can. In response, Denny's favorite journalist i.e. Olbermann showed the clip of Billo the clown (KO's new pet name for Orally) completely losing his cool and dropping the F bomb numerous times when Bill was on <u>Inside Edition</u>.

FWIW; BO'R has declared war on the war on Christamas, NBC, secular-progressives, gangsta rap throughout his storied career.

Wow, Olbermann is the man for calling out Billy.

He makes such a douche bag out of himself all the time on his show. I can't stand the guy.

Optimism @ FNC; Denial and repression will do that.

Seriously, Part of the MO of news analysis and commentary program are to call a spade a spade in whatever biased way you think will get ratings... and if anyone would know that its Rupert Murdoch & Roger Ailes.

Isn't it depressing when all the spades are... depressing?

    LOL

Olbermann seems to be seriously jealous of O'Reilly and the constant spanking he and Fox give MSNBC in the ratings. I guess his strategy is to try to be louder than O'Reilly.

    LOL again.

And I'm not an O'Reilly fan, either.

If we were switching the two, with O'Reilly hosting a faux-newscast with his disguised opinions featuirng guests who won't disagree, and Olbermann hosting an opinion hour program with all types of guests from all types of viewpoints, including guests Olbermann dislikes, I wonder who would be called out of control and rude.

I mean, O'Reilly would have nothing to flip out about since nobody will disagree with him. I'd like to see someone put Olbermann's feet to the fire, see how he reacts. I don't think anyone has challenged him on his program in five and a half years, though I could be wrong.

Alot more can be gained through civil discussion than rancor and staged animosity.

Further, I don't think many people could survive a PO'd KO.

Its contrasting styles; BillO being a runaway locomotive and KO being a razorblade.
