<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Carl Landry's agent said Thursday that Landry is not considering any specific offer, no decision is imminent, and nothing has changed in Landry's options. Buddy Baker said he could give any one of several NBA teams the go-ahead to present an offer, but Landry is weighing his options. "We've had teams interested in what we think Carl's value is and saying what they think Carl's value is," Baker said. "We're waiting to finalize that. It's not, 'We'll give you this. It's more, 'We're very interested, what are you thinking?' "If he wanted me to close deals, I could close it, yes. We're not going to rush through this process. We're going to go through this process, pursuing all of his options."</div> Houston Chronicle
He should just fire Buddy Baker and get this over with. By refusing to get his knee examined, obviously Landry knows there's something wrong and I applaud Morey for holding out. Let some other team make an offer and we will just match. Teams in the NBA right now aren't even interested in taking on him so I doubt European clubs would pay much more to get Landry whose health is suspect.
