Well it would be swapping a better first rounder and not as good 2nd rounder for a not as good 1st rounder and a better 2nd rounder.

Not just swapping first rounder for first rounder.

I don't think I can afford the #1 overall pick lol without giving up to much.

After he picks we'll go to the normal 6 hour pick limit.

What do you guys think the night pick limit should be? Anyone that goes on the clock after 10:00 pm will get until 8:00 am the next morning to pick?</div>

Is this stuff Eastern time? I sure as hell know I'm not gonna wake up @ 5 in the morning if I don't know it's my pick. Is there a system where we can leave a list of players with someone to make our pick?
    </div>

You can PM me with a list if you don't think you'll be around. I'm not participating in this draft.

I understood that, but consider that value drops off progressively (and sometimes precipitously) in each round, so that scenario wouldn't be worth it for someone with a better first round pick. So, for instance, I'd be happy to do that type of trade with you in exchange for trading places in the 4th. [IMG]

    SG - J.R. Smith/Francisco Garcia
    PG - Luke Ridnour/Sarunas Jasikevicius/Orien Greene

    Picked in August, 2005.

There's a few misses in there, but I think I could swing a deal for a decent PG. [IMG]
    </div>

wow, my favorite team (only one I can remember) is kinda similar. And by similar I mean our points suck and we had 3 beastly bigs. Mine was Marcus/Manu/Hedo(or Mike Miller, I think it was one of the two)/David West/Kaman with Aldridge off of the bench. I'll bow to your superiority, though.

    oh man

Who the hell was my first round pick? I think I was really trade happy that year and ended up getting robbed in all of them.

OMFG, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying.

There's a first round pick in there! (and he can't crack cpawfan's rotation)

    C - Ben Wallace / Steven Hunter
PF - Kevin Garnett / Dan Gadzuric
SF - Rashard Lewis / Mike Dunleavy
SG - Morris Peterson / John Salmons / Martell Webster
PG - Raymond Felton / Sam Cassell

That was my team last year (forgot who my 3rd PF was) but I don't think I did too bad looking back. I'd still kill Real's team 9 times out of 10. [IMG]

I found another one from 06.

Here's my team, I like my starters, but lol at my bench.

    C-Anderson Varejao/ Jason Collins/Michael Doleac
    PF- Carlos Boozer/Keith Van Horn

    PG- Kirk Hinrich/Steve Blake/Tony Delk

    GM3 (holy shit):

    C- Chris Kaman/Brian Skinner
    PF- Dwight Howard/Nick Collison/Scott Padgett
    SF- Andres Nocioni/Eduardo Najera/Lamond Murrary
    SG- J.R Smith/Mickael Pietrus

Cpaw (another very good one for him):

    C- Joel Przybilla/Ronny Turiaf
    PF- Tim Duncan/Antonie Walker/Brian Cook
    SF- Tayshaun Prince/Greg Buckner
    SG- Manu Ginobli/Carlos Delfino
    PG- Sam Cassell/Damon Jones/Daniel Ewing

Now here's ZAE (don't laugh again...):

    C - Kwame Brown/Eddie Griffin

Did someone tell you this was a competition to pick the players you think are likely out of league in 2 years? I'm actually seriously thinking that you are playing really poorly just to keep others happy, because I don't think it's possible to assemble that team while trying.

ok I found another one of ZAE's, and it actually isn't bad.

    MoWill/Jaric/Gibson
    Bonzi/Korver
    Kirilenko/Outlaw
    KMart/Walker/Blatche
    Camby/Ely

And picked in the 10th, 11th, and 12th rounds were Outlaw, Blatche, and Gibson. So there, you aren't always terrible.
