I probably hate Durant more than anyone on S2, but frankly he's a complete steal at this point, IMO.

Yeah, not a bad pick at all. Good scorer, should go well with LaMarcus.

Hey, at least it's better than taking Durant in the "lottery" of the 1st round.

If I didn't trade my pick I probably would have taken Durant. He is a steal at this point.

I just think Pierce fits my team better because he's better defensively, but trading away that pick knowing that Durant could be there is something I wrestled with for a while.

Aldridge is a much better offensive player than Horford. But Horford can bang around a little bit, something Aldridge isn't as good at. Either way if I had a choice I would pick Aldridge, but then again I'm a Blazers fan

I think they are pretty close overall, but like you said Horfords more of a banger, and Aldridge is more skilled offensively. I'll take Aldridge 15-20 spots lower and be happy though.

And if anyone sees ghoti, you didn't see me/don't know where I am and I didn't take Durant.

I had the opportunity to draft Durant and I traded it away, so I can't cry that I didn't get him.

Maybe the player I got is better than the player I didn't get. Hmm.

I'm not a fan of the Derrick Rose pick. Then again, I'm rarely a fan of rookies getting picked in the 1st or 2nd round in these GM drafts.

Nope. Plus you just set your team back with Rose.

You people are ridiculous. Rose and Oden can exist in perfect harmony. My team will be just fine.

I agree Rose is not a good pick in the 2nd round. You essentially have 2 rookies on your team.

    Two #1 overall picks.

You think I got Oliwokandi or something?

No, but Rose probably won't be a great contributor next season and Oden still needs to learn how to not foul.

I agree that this season they need a good team structure to succeed.

But these are extremely talented players, so towards the end of the year there's a great chance they will be showing signs of superstardom.

I do not agree that Rose won't be a great contributor this year. Why not? He's got an NBA ready game and on my team there's no one in his way.

You can delete my post if you think I'm spoiling an undrafted player.
