He's not good anymore, and no matter who drew the fouls on him, you don't want a big man who likes to get in foul trouble.</div> Obviously he's not the same anymore... but he still has a strong impact on the game. he can still draw double teams, rebound, etc. He shot 61% in phoenix so he also was taking less shots. </div> He shot 44% from FG and 50% from FT against the Spurs. Let's use those numbers instead. </div> Sweet, now all they gotta worry about is that 82 game season vs the Spurs. </div> why don't you look and see what I was refuting against him. He said Shaq could play against the Duncans and Yaos in the league there bud </div> Maybe you should look. He said Shaq could guard the Yao's and Duncan's. Got it, tiger? </div> I showed Duncans stats, Shaq couldn't even stay in the game, Duncan dominated that series. </div> Look, it's this simple. He said Shaq could guard Duncan. You showed stats to show that he was wrong. Shaq can't guard Duncan. He said Shaq still shot 60% from the field with Phoenix and was ok overall as a player. You are bringing up Shaq's offense vs SAS, where he shot 44% from the field. I say that it doesn't matter his stats on offense against SAS because they don't play them 82 games for a season. You say it does matter because he said Shaq could play against Yao and Duncan. I point out that he never said that, he only said Shaq could guard Yao and Duncan, his offense against them didn't matter, the whole offensive issue was in general on the Suns. You say Duncan dominated the series against Shaq. You are just arguing against things that were never said. Stay on the topic of what is being discussed. Are you sure you didn't change your name from HB?
wtf are you talking about? my last comment was in respect to what you said about defense. Shaq couldn't guard Duncan. If D'Antoni put stoudemire on him then he's a complete idiot.

BD can switch to the 2 in case Ben can't guard 'em. David West is a great player, an all-star.

Got a question guys.. how do we determine the winner? Do we wait for next season to end and look how your players fared compared to your opponents or what? Because otherwise any other evalutation would be only solely based on opinions/speculations and that wont work... right?
I think when 2k9 comes out someone should but all the rosters we have right now into a season and see who wins the championship, if i get the game early enough ill gladly do it.

That's not the purpose of building these teams. Sims don't take into account team chemistry, intangibles, how the players co-exist, etc. If we were doing a sim, I'd just draft the highest scoring guys. This is different. You're supposed to build a team, explain why you built the team that way, and provide an argument for why you think your team would win the championship. It's more complex and much more realistic.
