You're just jealous because I'm awesome.

And because Joe Johnson is NOT a point forward. As in, he didn't regularly play SF on the Suns at a very high level. Never happened.

Oh wow. Sorry. I didn't realize ESPN said that he plays SG. I guess that means it's impossible for him to play SF. Well, that changes my whole game plan.

Guys, I need to trade Joe Johnson for a Small Forward. He's on the block, for anyone that's interested.

I'm really not sure how you'd differentiate between the SG/SF position on that team.
Both of them just hung out on the 3 point line.

82games isn't always right with their positions, I wouldn't put too much stock in those.

Those Suns teams were so open, that there was no differentiation between wing positions.

But, regardless of all that: Joe Johnson = Guard.

First of all, stop being a dick.

Yahoo, ESPN, basketball-reference, SI and nba.com all list him as a Guard.

The Phoenix Suns today completed a sign-and-trade deal with the Atlanta Hawks that will send restricted free-agent guard Joe Johnson to Atlanta in exchange for guard/forward Boris Diaw (pronounced DEE-ow) and two future first-round draft picks. This trade also leaves Phoenix with a $6 million trade exception for their use in future dealings.

You can do whatever you want. If you want to play a player out of position, do it, it's your team.

Dude, stop being an ass. I was just pointing out that he started more games at the 2 than he did at the 3. My reply had nothing to do with how he fits on your team, and I never said he couldn't play the 3. Reading comprehension is valuable, you know.

You provided a source that said he played more at the 3. I provided a source that seemed to indicate something different. It's called a counter-argument. Look it up.

According to 82games.com JJ played 75% of his minutes at the SG position. You could play him at the 3, but he would have a tougher time scoring on SF's

That was with Atlanta. The team that had about 8 forwards.
