guys I"m sorry but I just picked a 14.9 pt shooting guard who is only 23 years old and I got him in the mid-seventh round

Hes numbers are really not inflated because he shoots and at 45%. It's not like he shoots 20 shots a game and makes 6, hes a good shooter. You can't say his numbers are inflated because hes on a bad team. Hes also very young and hes coming off my bench. He shoots 40.7% from three = assassin
Btw KC, nice pick. I was hoping that he would drop one more round and use him as a young backup center. But nice pick.

Either way I'm not denying he's a good scorer, he just doesn't do much of anything else.
ZAE I know you saw Ricky Davis from the list I sent you but even though hes a good player hes declining. He was basically the go to guy for a horrible team last year. He averaged 36 minutes and only scored 13 points per game. Hes a guy who should of had numbers inflated for being on a bad team. Hes also viewed as more of a poison than a solution as you can see by the best contract he could received was a one year $2.3 million from the clippers with an option for a second year. I would of taken him if Mccants wasn't still there but I just went with a younger player who is improving rather than declining Still getting him this late and having him come of the bench makes him a great pick

I understand he can be a poison, and I agree with it but the situation will be different off the bench.
How will it be different off the bench? Ricky Davis will whine and bitch about how he should be playing more disrupting chemistry. If anything Davis should be on a team where he starts.

IMO Salmons and Davis will both get about 25-30 minutes a game and it gives ZAE flexibility with the lineup since he can now give RJ a breather. I didn't like ZAE's team with Salmons starting but now he has a solid player who will split time with him which makes his team better

No. I don't like the pick because he will disrupt chemistry anyway you look at it. And if you start Salmons over him he still will bitch and complain that he is the better player.
Davis just signed with the Clippers and hes not expected to start and hes not complaining yet. I'm just saying nobody really cares if they start or not just that they get the minutes and on ZAE's team he'll get them. He should get up to 30 a night and it might increase even more if he outplays Salmons. I don't really like Davis either but do I think hes better than quite a few of the guys drafted in front of him YES. Does he disrupt chemistry? Yes but he has been kind of quiet over the past few years and hes talented so sometimes you just take talent over attitude and hope he likes the situation. In real life what the Clippers did is really smart because if he becomes too much of a problem they're just waive him. Not that big of an impact on their cap.
The starting positions aren't set in stone yet. If he doesn't get a starting spot, watch him complain. answer me this, when is Ricky Davis on winning teams?
He won't complain http://www.nba.com/celtics/roster/RickyEmb...s_20050314.html And although clearly he's never been a coach's favorite anywhere he's been, hes also never had any run ins with the law or anything that bad. He gets a bad rap but mostly his attitude problems were from his younger days. He's declining in explosiveness though and he might be wearing down and hes also not a good defender, but it was a good pick for ZAE thats all I'm going to say. Hes not a winner and that could be a problem but is it really his fault hes been on some awful teams. I never really had anything agaisnt Ricky Davis and I was close to picking him myself. ZAE's team is still worse than mine lol and ZAE I'm done arguing for you
