I was hoping to get all our guys to camp on time this year. B. Albert (2nd 1st rounder) signed at the 11th hour and made it on the bus. B. Flowers (2nd round) signed the day before Albert. Now we just need to get Dorsey in there so he can begin to prepare for the season. Albert signing on time was big, since last year our starting O-line was never together in camp. This will help a line in transition foster some consistency. They have to play better than last year, or we will be picking early again next year.
That's funny stuff. Yeah, I've been working lots of OT and trying to spend limited free time with my 2 year old, but football season is winding up and I am getting the itch. My Chiefs may extinguish it for me by the end of September, but I am stoked for now.
Obviously work and family come first. Remember you've got friends here. Your Chiefs and my Bears may disappoint us both before the season is very old.
Cool, KC is back. Are you doing that dynasty keeper league again this year? Wow, week 1 at New England, the rest of the month won't be a cakewalk either. I'm aware of what Dorsey is going to bring, but I'm more curious to see what this Albert guy is going to add on that o-line.
I think sending Cedric Benson packing was the first step in the right direction. Now if they could just get settled at QB.
I wouldn't be surprised if Grossman is sent to Miami to become backup to Cade McNown. Problem is, nobody behind Rex is a QB you win behind.

You can't keep me away from fantasy football. We did draw a pretty ugly opener. Albert will do more for the team than Dorsey imo, just because out O-line was the biggest achilles heel last season. If we can't protect Croyle and Larry can't run, it will get ugly quickly. I am happy to hear Herm say the CBs will play a more agressive press coverage this year. That is where Surtain excels. He has been lost playing zone since we brought him over from Miami. I think with a style that is more suited to his skills, people will find that he still has some gas in the tank.
Yeah. expectations are that Flowers will take Ty Law's spot opposite Surtain. Great News...(And this has nothing to do with GEICO). Dorsey signed and now we have all the bodies in camp. Not bad. As bad as I ride Carl Peterson, I guess I should give him credit for taking care of business this year. Now...excuse me while I go wash my mouth out with soap!

I can't imagine that Herm or any of the athletes would have smoked one had Dorsey gotten in on time. Good to see Dorsey is in the fold now. I don't want any excuses from the Chiefs side when they play the Raiders. Heh heh.
Hali will move to Jared Allen's old spot on the left end. Last year at right end he was asked to support the run more than rush the QB. He won't be Allen, but I think he will be respectable. He had a good rookie year if I remember correcty. There is talk of moving Alphonso Boone DT over to the right side.

McCown & the unmentionable one w/ the bad mustache currently ruining his alma mater. It appears B. Albert is injured & will miss the rest of TC. I would not get my hopes up too much... Herm is running things; he's slighly brighter but as creative as you know who. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/Comme.../sohn072808.htm
The title of this thread is the answer to the following jeapordy question: What did Monica Lewinski tell her last boyfriend after sex?
He's back. He played sparingly in the Miami embarrasment. He should get more time tonight at St. Louis.
