I said Smith is a better athlete and talent, not a better player.

Gasol isn't as soft as he's being painted to be. He withstood Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby, Tim Duncan, and Carlos Boozer. Nobody was calling him soft then; until the Finals rolled around.

I haven't seen enough of Bosh in all honesty to make a rational decision. How is his mid range game?

I'd take Gasol over Amare ON THE LAKERS, jut because he's a better fit. Gasol gave Amare some problems when we played the Suns with Gasol IIRC.

Gasol's high post game is PERFECT to put next to Bynum's low post game. I can't wait to see the two on the court together.

IDK what the hell ur talking about Mamba.
NO, I wouldn't trade Smith for Pau, but stop scrutinizing Dream over it. If Smith had a true PF's body, then, yes, I would trade him for Pau in a heartbeat.

    Bosh>Pau
    Dirk>Pau

However, I DO agree that Pau is a better fit on our team than Dirk, but Bosh would be an EVEN BETTER fit.

DREAM has been coming in here since the Finals spewing his BS about what the Lakers need to do to win a championship, based off of one series. He has no idea what he is talking about, and every time I called him out on it, he ignored my posts.

I wouldn't take Dirk over Pau, either. We're calling Pau soft? What the hell is Dirk, then?

Ok, maybe I should've clarified myself. A top big man, and a top 5-7 4.

Yao can't stay healthy enough to convince me to have him as a championship piece over Gasol. He's a great player, but he's feeble as shit.

I'll take Gasol over: Amare (Gasol owned him IIRC), Bosh, Jermaine (what a joke throwing him in there), Dirk, and West.

KG, Duncan, and Brand are the only 3 PF's that are clearly better than Gasol.

Over Dirk? Nah. Maybe Amare, since his defense is terrible. Spot on with the others, though.
