<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arsenal ran riot against a Burgenland XI on Monday, winning 10-2 in their third pre-season game of the summer.

Nicklas Bendtner helped himself to four goals, while Carlos Vela grabbed his first goals for the club by netting an impressive hat-trick.

Highly-rated youngster Jack Wilshire also netted his first two goals for the club and Theo Walcott got his name on the scoresheet in the rout.

The Gunners showed no mercy to the Austrian minnows and they came flying out of the traps with Wilshire opening the scoring in the very first minute with a deflected effort.

Danish striker Bendtner doubled the lead on 15 minutes and he added his second five minutes later after being set up by Wilshere.

Vela scored his first goal for Arsenal on 25 minutes with a fine individual effort before Bendtner grabbed his hat-trick five minutes later.

Bendtner turned provider three minutes later when he crossed for Vela to make it 6-0 to Arsenal and the Dane notched his fourth of an impressive evening's work on 38 minutes.

The one-way trafffic continued in the second half and Vela sealed his hat-trick on 53 minutes.

The impressive Wilshere won and converted a penalty on 65 minutes to record his second goal of the contest.

Walcott made it the perfect ten for Arsenal on 69 minutes before Burgenland grabbed two late consolation goals through Peter Artner (73) and Martin Streyrer (90)

Arsenal face Stuttgart in their next pre-season outing and they are sure to face a stiffer challenge against the German side.</div>

Pretty good i must say. Vela was excellent today as was the whole squad. Can't wait for the season to start again.

Is that a Bendtner hattrick +1, and a Vela hattrick I see?

10 goals??? Ouch. Those are FIFA numbers!

The Gunners will be dangerous this season. I can't wait for the season to kick off.

It is. Although this was just a friendly it makes me think if we need Adebayor.

    -Van Persie
    -Vela
    -Bendtner
    -Walcott

Van Persie is our most Dangerous striker and Bendtner is a good replacement if he's injured. Him sitting behind walcott or Vela would be a very good combinatioin IMO.

Heres a vid. Though don't expect it to be available for too long.

Yes, Wilshire was also great. Vela's goals were sensational from what I've seen, I think we will see alot of competition in the striker department this season, they all look sharp as nails, wenger must be very pleased and so am I. [IMG]

no he isn't not sure why. I think he's having some R&R in London and getting used to London life. Can't wait to see him in action though.

Fabregas just got back into training today, and Toure will be back for the start of the season.
