<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brown’s agent, Mark Bartlestein, told ESPN.com on Monday night that the former No. 1 pick in the 2001 draft has reached a verbal agreement on a new contract with the Detroit Pistons.

The contract is believed to be a two-year deal worth $8 million, with Brown — who spent his first four seasons as a pro in Washington after being drafted by then-Wizards president Michael Jordan — holding a player option to return to free agency after this season.</div>

Well this time it wasn't a 27 mill 3 year contract. [IMG]

But I think 4 mill per year might be too much. I'd say 2.5-3 mill is more realistic, especially if he plays backup all year.

I agree with that. He really hasn't earned his check his whole career.

Kwame Stinks! im glad the pistons signed him because i hate the pistons! with a passion! sorry piston fans, but you guys ended kobe and shaq's last championship hopes together by being really good, therefore you deserve to die! in the eyes of laker fans, that is.

anyway seriously, maybe kwame will work harder on a smaller contract? start to earn some playing time, gain some confidence and realize his talent and finally live up to his potential...hahahaha just kidding, kwame is gonna have the exact same numbers and performance as always, poorly inconsistent and unskilled.

He's a good back up big man. Very decent signing by the Pistons.
