    It Is Ronaldo Or Nobody

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Los Merengues' chief is prepared to stake his reputation on prising the Portuguese star away from Manchester United and that could cause friction with the German trainer, according to Marca.

Schuster has reportedly asked Calderón and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic to look into the possibility of signing other players instead and thought he had an agreement.

"Either Cristiano Ronaldo comes or nobody does, " the Spanish sports daily quoted him as stating.

Rafael Van der Vaart and David Villa are two players that the coach wants, but Madrid are unlikely to make a second move for the Dutchman or lodge a bid for the Spaniard now.

It will come as a huge blow because Schuster knows that he he needs two or three new faces to freshen up his squad, despite the fact that they won the title last term.

Calderón promised to sign Kaká and Cesc Fàbregas in his pre-election manifesto but failed to land either and will incur the wrath of the fans if he does sign Ronaldo.

Last summer the supporters made their feelings known during the introduction of Arjen Robben's presentation as they chanted to Kaká.</div>

That is a huge promise to make to the fans, and was quite stupid on his behalf. Those three alone are probably the three hardest players to buy in the footballing world today.

Yeah, I think this says to other leagues, "Keep your hands off of EPL players!"

Well most of our presidents say "Im going to get this player" and after some time they get it done... Calderon has put a very nice team together with El profe schuster and IMHO if CR doesnt make up his mind in 2 weeks, then we need to move on and dont waste time anymore.... because there are other good players around.

Yep, and Ferguson has made the ultimate retort by saying, "If Ronaldo leaves, then I do too."

And by "nobody," he means Rafael Van der Vaart?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Real Madrid have been on red alert ever since the Portuguese international spoke of his ambition to join them. Madrid President Ramon Calderon has even boasted of how he would splash out €100m on the United man, only for the English club to refute all offers and shackle the player.

It now seems as if the English club has no choice but to sell, as Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum as he attempts to cut and run from Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

Ronaldo is currently in Portugal where he is recovering from injury but he admits that he will return to England next week to confront his club and tell them that he is joining Real.

"Everything is fine. Next week I will return to England and tell them [Manchester United] that my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that I will not negotiate," Ronaldo told AS.

According to reports in Spain, the winger will hold a meeting next Tuesday with Ferguson and the club's owners to tell them that he has had enough.

It's not what United fans want to hear but it seems as if the Ronaldo saga is finally coming to an end and no doubt Calderon will be dancing to the tune of Ronaldo's words.</div>

I'd have to laugh. All this because of one player... He's making Fergie look stupid.

Get comcast, and then order sports package its about 6 extra dollars, you get NBATV, and two channels for soccer called GolTv and Fox Soccer Channel. They have La Liga, Italian league, bundesliga, EPL, etc.
