<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Burnley have signed winger Chris Eagles from Manchester United on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has been at Old Trafford since the age of 14 but has failed to secure a first-team place.

Burnley's sixth summer signing has spent loan spells at Championship rivals Watford, Sheffield Wednesday, as well as Dutch outfit NEC Nijmegen.

Eagles has enjoyed good pre-season form, scoring against Kaizer Chiefs and Portsmouth on United's African tour.</div>
