So, how's the game going? I caught the first few minutes, and Carmelo was doin good as usual.

I caught that sick Howard block, too, that was mad funny.

    How far ahead are we?

    I love Team USA.

Kobe, Redd, and Boozer are the only players under 66%. And Kidd scored! [IMG] AND Kobe's leading the team in assists!

Lebron came back in a really big way. Against Turkey, but still, nice performance nonetheless.

That was painful to watch. Showboating, half-court offense was terrible.

^Really? The only painful thing was our break downs in defense.....our offense should have little criticisms. Showboating? Come on man they are up 30+ and are just having some fun.

    Go Team USA

I'm watching it on tivo right now, and I've got to say that we're looking disappointing (this is during the 2nd quarter when it's still a 5 point game)

Poor perimeter defense (although Turkey is making a lot of lucky shots)

Really poor half court offense, I mean what the hell are these guys doing in practice if they're not learning plays?

That bounce pass alley-oop wasn't needed. Our offense was scoring, sure, but that's just because of superior talent. The ball movement wasn't anything to write home about.

They're currently running Lebron at center, and he's a defensive monster.

I'm still pretty afraid of how we're going to adapt when we can't score 60 fast break points. Our half-court offense doesn't look that impressive.

I hope USA shows some respect/seriousness in the actual Olympics...the alley-oops and steal attempts may be working against Turkey but Greece,Spain,China, and other top teams won't be as easy to get highlights off of. Having confidence is great but you need to play defense and take your time on offense.
