WELL... i have some veteran leadership with davis and west... ben is my pure scorer... i kno he doesnt play much defense...

-davis can push the ball off a miss or penetrate the half court sets... or he can even post up vs a smaller PG or some SG's...

david west is our post up presense... he can also hit the 18-20 foot jumper and can put the ball on the floor if needed.

i would run some sets for ben like a double screen coming from west and haywood... but he would be more likely waitin for a pass to come out of the post whether it be davis or west... and he can drain open shots [IMG]

haywood isnt much of an offensive threat or anythin for that matter... but he plays solid D... and he is a BIG BODY... and a rebounder [IMG] only offense i expect from him is put backs [IMG] i gotta look up his ft % and look into that stat

    baron davis
    ben gordon
    no sf yet
    david west
    brendan haywood

You could say that, but you'd be completely wrong. Durant's bball IQ is nothing to write home about, but LMA and Bogut both have above average bball IQs, and Bogut has one of the best bball IQs of any big man in the league.
This team isn't close to being stupid.

    LOL

Look at the W/L for those guys. They have all the physical skills and technical abilities, no? So where's the wins!
    </div>
Oh come on, Denny. Aldridge is on a future Dynasty, and Bogut is stuck with RJ, Redd, and Williams.

    That doesn't even make sense.

How is W/L a reflection of one player's skill set/basketball IQ?

Outlaw has the physical tools, and has shown signs of putting it together. He's young enough that he can improve still, but he just makes too many boneheaded decisions.

I mean, apparently Brandon Roy sucks, because he's on the Blazers.

    The 3 teams?

JFizzleRaider's team needs a solid PG and it's going to be one of the more dominant teams.

Real's 3some of Okur, Pierce, and Paul is maybe better than last year's Celtics team. OK, not the defensive juggernaut, tho.

    DynastYWarrioR6 has the win-today version of KC's front court.</div>

    I GOT A COMPLIMENT WOOT!

Portland won like 13 straight last season. The pundits were praising Brandon Roy, not Aldridge. I would say Roy's IQ is very high.

Redd is an all-star caliber player (he's been an all-star).

The Bulls (not last season), Detroit, and San Antonio are good examples of teams with lots of players with high IQs, it does translate into wins.

Unnamed forward has also been an allstar (damn these rules)

Who the pundits praise has no bearing on BBal IQ

That is something obvious from observation.

Because Bogut is on a sh*tty team, he is stupid.
Because LMA isn't the leader of his team, even though he's a vital piece, he deserves no credit.

All the best teams in the league (Det, SAS), have players with high basketball IQs. High basketball IQ = wins. OBVIOUSLY. The best teams have no room for dumb players on their teams. DUH.

    Those points are barely logical.

    LOL

Another way to look at it. The Lakers added THE guy with one of the highest bball IQ's in history and won 5 championships, the first one in year 1. The Celtics added a similar guy and went from 29 wins to 61 wins and win the championship in year 2.

Transcendent players are transcendent players. What they were able to do doesn't apply to mere mortals.

So now we are comparing Bogut and LMA to MVP and HOF'ers. Right.

They may well be HOFers. The jury's out on that one, eh?

Your frontcourt might win a championship 4 or 5 years from now, because I do think the players will get smarter to go along with their physical skills.

In my book, the best player on your team is Durant; by the time he does figure the game out, he's going to be Kobe-like. He's obviously not Kobe-like now. And he's your primary scorer, so far.

    Lots of luck with that.
