    How much did you watch that Supernova team? They had 4 guards and 1 post player, so it's much different. I recall Mike Nardi playing PG when Lowry went out too, but they had more than 1 PG/ballhandler on the floor at a time.
    </div>

    I lived in Philadelphia at the time. I saw my fair share of them.

    Allan Ray was incapable of playing PG. Lowry was the primary point guard, and when he wasn't on the floor, Foye would handle the point, while Nardi would see spot minutes at it.

    Regardless of all that, Gordon still never saw extended minutes at the point like Foye did.

    But Foye was an off-guard most the time, while it was mostly Nardi and Lowry doing the PG duties

    But these guys are arguing Eric Gordon isn't a PG and won't pass, but Foye is the same way. Foye looks to score first rather than pass, kind of like Eric Gordon. Both are capable ball handlers, and Foye is just proof that Gordon can play PG.

    A lot of teams play offensive schemes that don't require a true PG. Nothing wrong with that.

    You're missing my point. Foye played a good amount of minutes at point guard. Not just passing, but initiating the offense, and being the decision maker on the floor.

    Gordon never did that. Gordon was at SG. Gordon has never played PG.

    Gordon = SG.
    Foye = Combo Guard.

    Also just wanted to add, Foye saw more minutes at the point than Nardi, Nardi played off-ball primarily on that team.

    Kenyon Martin not only is the first and only NBA player to come back from microfracture surgery on both knees, but he regained all of his explosive jumping and lateral speed. Granted, he is a physical freak of nature and he can pick up strength just walking through the weight room, but he had a hell of a rehab program.

    They made the decision to have him drop some weight so he is one of the lightest starting PF's now. Additionally, he has an entire workout regimen that he does before each game so that his muscles are fully warmed up.

    Training staffs have learned a lot over the past few seasons how to deal with MF surgery and it isn't the death knell that it was just a few years ago.

    Yeah I was gonna say, I don't like JJ at SF. IMO you got Dwight and then ruined it.

    I dont know anything about Sessions, but the rest of that lineup is pretty good.

    Athletic wings that can defend and shoot in Kevin Martin and Granger. Then you got two types of bigs, one that specializes inside the paint, the other outside of it and is able to run the court well.
