PG: Stephon Marbury/Eric Gordon SG: Mike Miller/Martell Webster SF: King James PF: Chris Wilcox C : Jermaine O'Neal I'm throwin' myself to the dogs.....rate it

Marbury once was an elite PG, but his spirit has been broken for several seasons. Your team is much better than the current Cavaliers team. Not sure it would beat this year's Celtics tho.

Player A Player B 19.9 ppg 19.4 ppg 5.4 rebounds 6.0 rebs 4.8 assists 3.5 ast 2.1 steals 2.1 stl 45.6 fg % 44.9 fg % 1.2 3pm 1.2 3pm .6 Blk .9 blk A is Iggy and B is wallace, very little difference in stats look how they faced off against each other. http://www.btgraphix.com/nba/matchup.asp?e...gl&id2=3826 exactly the same Dalembert is better than Foster no doubt but neither are game changers and both focus more on defense than offense and both are great rebounders. So even though Dalembert is better than Foster its much less of an impact than lets say Amare against David Lee or Pierce against Brewer
Foster can't win a starting job on a team that needs a C. Think about it. He gets his boards (lots of them, granted) against 2nd units.

If you based everything on stats then Zach Randolph would be an All-Star

I added quite a bit of talent around LeBron, and considering playing with someone like him makes everyone try hard and want to win, I'm not worried about JO or Marbury under-performing. They aren't the franchise player anymore and would settle into doing their roles around King James and be good vets on the team. I still got quite a few bigs in mind that will help my team even if I get one, so I'm not worried not having anyone there on the bench yet.

If you say that about Foster may I be able to say Lee can't win a job on a team that needs a PF, first off he couldn't beat Randolph for a spot and second off he gets all his boards off 2nd units. He only started 29 games on a disgraceful Knicks team

He practically was sitting out this year because Isiaih didn't want him and the Knicks were a mess. Why would you even try to play for a team that sucks donkey balls and they don't even want you? Marbury is still a good player, and would definitely be good on a team that wants him and has some other people to help him out. The Knicks have no playmakers, just a bunch of scorers that look for their shot. I don't see any problem with Marbury because he really just needs a change of scenery and he'll be alright.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JFizzleRaider @ Aug 13 2008, 10:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Marbury is used goods. And again I say, When is Marbury ever on winning teams?</div> The year the before the Celtics won the championship KG was on a 32-50 team, Ray Allen was on a 31-51 team and Paul Pierce was on a 24-58 team. If the right people are in the right environment they can win so that argument doesn't always work. But Marbury has always been a headcase and hes a below average player as of now and should never be able to start again. I will agree with Jfizzle that he is "used goods" But you still have a good team
the difference is KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce all have won as the best players on their teams. Stephon Marbury has been traded around the league and couldn't even sniff a winning season as the best player on a team.
