God bless HBO HD This is giving me a huge boner. LOL 9 minutes in they waive Terry. Jerruh is talking to a "Jimmy" (WR coach?) and he is pissed. Jerry just said he doesn't think anyone would take a chance on She if he's waived. God this is good.
Oh shit! Keyshawn is there! And Sam Hurd is awesome. Wow. Right off the bat Jerruh is telling Hurd that they waived Glenn. I guess that's our 3rd WR. Wait, hold that, they're saying he could challenge Crayton for the 2 slot. LOL right on cue they show "the drop"
Felix Jones is walking by the apartments/hotels they're staying in, and Adam Jones appears through a second story window and dumps a trashcan full of water on his head. He's back to his old ways!
"Now you know I don't have rules, but per Coach Campo's request, you're not allowed to pull down coaches' pants down anymore" -Wade Phillips LOL and that was because of a rookie! Vintage, CK, Shake, wtf ya'll?
Didn't get to see it.... I don't have HBO at home... I will when I move back up to Milwaukee....so keep me updated. Glenn didn't get claimed by anyone right, so Jerruh was right. Our WR coach is Ray Sherman, so he must been talking to someone else FWIW. Also, Strahan said we were the most physical team and the best team they had played all year. Not that its much consolation...but thought I'd mention it FWIW.
Yeah I have the same problem as Vintage right now. If you find any online Vids, I'd love to see them. The Cowboys are fascinating to me.
I just watched the 1st ep....damn, I love the show....Its always compelling, regardless of the team they follow....it just makes me want to quit my job and try to get hired as a coach full time....a few things I particularly enjoyed: Pacman's 6 pack....its not what you think....Pacman(I know he said hes just Adam now, but they all call him Pac) catches a punt, then he catches another, then another, and he hasnt put any of the balls down....hes holding 3 footballs, and he catches another, then another, and finally, one more....he caught 6 punts in succesion without putting the balls down....Crayton spent the rest of the show trying to do it(and eventally he did).... Jason Garrett's speeches....pretty damn inspiring, I really like when he told the offense that he wasnt going to tell them everything was ok when they were mediocre.... Judd Garrett's coaching of Marcelius Bennett....basically, he was teaching him about the importance of details.....he tells him to put the ball in his outside hand, and then he while hes walking back to the huddle, he makes him put in the proper hand and cover it, and when hes not satisfied with the way he does it, he makes him cover it better, while shouting, "we dont fumble around here"....I love the attention.... Bennetts reaction to being drafted....he basically freaked out because Jerry Jones was on the phone....thats a guy that really wanted to be a Cowboy.... Felix Jones shower....DeMarcus Ware tricked him into standing on a spot so Pacman could dump a garbage can of water on him, it was classic....
I can't wait until the next episode, where they break down Anthony Spencer challenging Greg Ellis for the starting spot, and the FS/SS drama between Henry, Hamlin, and Roy.
Wow that was quite a nice episode. The TO vs Pacman bit was very cool as well. I was rooting for TO the whole episode btw.
